Product Knowledge & Care

Magnolia furniture is thoughtfully crafted using natural materials and artisanal techniques. Each Magnolia piece is designed to age gracefully over time. Variations in grain, tone, texture, veining, patina, shade, and finish are inherent characteristics of the materials used and shall not be considered defects.

Natural Materials Disclaimer

At Magnolia, we work with solid wood, natural stone, metal, leather (faux and real), and hand-applied finishes. These materials respond to their environment.

Minor movement, hairline cracks, tonal shifts, patina development, cushion softening, and surface aging are natural and seasonal occurrences. They reflect the living nature of the materials and are not manufacturing defects.

Hand-applied finishes, matte lacquers, waxed surfaces, metals, and natural stones are delicate by nature and may mark, oxidize, or develop character over time. Such evolution is intrinsic to authentic materials and forms part of the Magnolia aesthetic.

Wood & Veneer

Magnolia wood and veneer finishes require mindful care.

  • Clean using a soft, dry cloth; wipe along the direction of the grain.

  • Avoid direct water exposure and harsh chemical cleaners.

  • Always use coasters, trivets, and protective pads.

  • Maintain indoor humidity levels between 40–60%.

  • Keep furniture away from direct sunlight, heaters, fireplaces, and air-conditioning vents.

  • Seasonal expansion, contraction, and minor surface movement are natural characteristics of solid

wood and veneer.
