The Olive Retreat

A well-honed design brings together function and form seamlessly. Whether it was the living room sofas, the sliding kitchen door or study desk and cabinets, very room in this private residence had custom made furniture to build character into it. For the master bedroom we created a plush upholstered bed and wardrobe set, along with a petite TV unit. The bunk bed in the junior bedroom had a creatively crafted bed which also doubled up as a case to hold a drum kit and added storage space. A living space turns into a home when it embraces the needs of the people who live in it, in this case a tastefully experimental couple, unafraid to open up to new textures, patterns and creative constructs.
