The Wicker’s Arch

Muted Tones and Simplicity Best Defines This Home.

The Curved Lined House is the first of a find project for the design team at Magnolia. We were approached by the client to design the residence to the T, be it the breaking down of walls, conceptualizing the false ceiling form, floors, furniture, lacquer and veneer. The idea was to give the home a cohesive feeling. The brief for this home was simple - to have a space that's calm and subtle. The living room is furnished with ample seating with the sofas upholstered in the shades of white and subdued blue. A coral shaded day bed seamlessly completes the entire space. The false ceiling here has subtle curves on the edges, giving it a softer look. On the opposite side of the living room lies the dining area, donned in a yellow and grey combination with a blue distressed cabinet completing the look. The polished table is simple yet elegant, flanked by minimalist chairs on one side and a dining bench on the other. Adjacent to the dining, a side counter demarcates the kitchen, It is largely ruled by a palette of white and grey and and walls clad in cement-finish tiles with engineered quartz stone serving as the countertop. The bedroom follows a neutral tone with beds finished in subtle earthy shades and wicker. The sophisticated, monochrome bathroom shows clean lines and minimal elements.
